So, here is how the story starts... I am an on again, off again eBay addict. I love finding excellent bargains on cute clothes for my baby girl, but I also love selling odds and ends, gently used clothing and what not. Recently, my mom stumbled upon a few boxes of shoes from long long ago in the deep dark depths of her closet. She wanted to sell them in a garage sale, but of course I assured her that eBay was the way to go!! I know this sounds weird, but I seriously get a thrill from buying and selling on eBay... ssshhh, please don't tell anyone that. Okay, so I am getting to the point here... the shoes!
One of the pairs of shoes were a pair of gold pumps. As I always do, I checked the shoes for wear and took photos to post. In the ad, I used the description on the box. It just so happens that the size on the box was a tad off, so when the buyer received the gold pumps, they were a little snug. Totally my fault, so I reimbursed her immediately and told her to keep the shoes and give them to someone who needs them. Yesterday morning, I received this email: (the grammar is not so good, but you will get the point...)
"thank you so much for taking care of this so promptly, and i did what you said and there's a women in my building that she's a hard worker she cleans homes and she's no spring chicken and she has a heart of gold she helps eveybody and she helps me for she knows i don't get around w/out some kind of assistance she never does anything for herself.and she goes to church 3 x's a week so there was a holiday program at her church and she wanted to look nice and nice she did i helped her i'm also a make/up artist so i got her all looking pretty and then i brought out the golden slippers and i knew she wore a 8 but i wasn't sure about these well just as the story goes it fit and that woman cried i wanted you to know that it was your good will to your fellow (wo)man that gave her joy.seriously you made this woman begin to think that there are caring people in the world that don't even know her.so as far as i'm concerned you deserve the person of the month award for just being a good . "
God never ceases to amaze me. I do not, for a single second, take an ounce of credit for God's crafty work. He promises to provide for us.... and sometimes in ways that we could never dream up! Truly amazing.

PS- I promise to update with pictures soon!! I know, I have been awful at updating, but we had sooooo much going on the past 2 months!! I hope all is well with all of you.
xoxo Jess and Me
