Peacock on the Roof

This morning, as I was leaving for work, a lady across the street was making this weird face, staring at my parents' roof. "Is that your bird on your roof?!?"

This peacock is a member of our neighborhood. He/she is often seen carousing through all of our yards. We are thinking maybe he was checking out his reflection in our upstairs window... or maybe he was watching Jessie on the potty! We don't know where he belongs, but obviously our neighborhood is a sufficient habitat for him, because he looks real healthy and beautiful. Isn't he purdy?


Lastnight, Jess was getting ready for our Maui trip.

Here is a good shot of her 'red spots' that are now fading....

The one on her left arm now looks more like 5 on top of one another. That was the worst spot of all. As it is going away, there is this red welpy looking ring around the area. Crazy.

This was Jessica being sad that her mommy was going to work this morning. She always puts her little blankey in her mouth. It cracks me up.

Tomorrow my parents' neighborhood is having a neighborhood garage sale. We are going to get up early (well, we are going to TRY!) and cruise the sales. I am looking forward to that. I love 'garage sailing'. If anyone wants to go with us, contact me. :)
